Purchase With Purpose

If you love jewelry & accessories as much as I do, you're going to want to check out Noonday Collection. My sister-in-law, Kate, recently became an ambassador for the company, and today she held her first open house to share the gorgeous products Noonday has to offer.

I boosted my jewelry collection by choosing the yellow & teal paper bead Rosette Necklace. I can't wait to wear it! What's even better than the beauty of this necklace, is knowing that my purchase had a positive impact on another person in this world.

As it says on their website, "Noonday Collection's mission is to create economic opportunity for the vulnerable. We partner with artisans in the developing world, empowering them to grow sustainable businesses. By creating a marketplace for their goods, we create dignified jobs at living wages. This allows our artisans to earn more in order to support their families."

How wonderful is that? If you'd like to learn more about Noonday Collection, or perhaps purchase with purpose yourself, please visit Kate's link below:

I'm Back.

I don't even know where to begin. I haven't blogged since New Year's Day, probably because this is the first Saturday I've been home since 2013. I've got several ideas to make up for all this lost writing time so fear not, my faithful readers.

One of the things I haven't been on hiatus from is photography-y'all know how I love my pics. Let's start with a look back at what's been happening the past 5 months...

Got some new bedding for the new year (Thanks, Lands' End):

Survived the worst winter ever (shout out to my snuggie):

Cheered (and cried) as Tee got on Sports Center:

Met Peyton Siva's dad:

And then met Peyton Siva himself (swoon!):

Spun through St. Louis:

Got to see Tim Tebow:

Met baby Emily:

Traveled to Indy for John Legend:

And of course, spent as much time as possible with my McNugget:

Needless to say, it's been a good year thus far. Summer is right around the corner (15 more school days!), so I promise to be a better blogger. I hope your 2014 has gotten off to a stellar start; here's to sunshine, swimming, and the flip flop-filled days ahead!
